end grain cutting boards are naturally durable and resistant to daily or heavy use. another benefit of the use of the end grain is that it allows knives to stay sharp longer than with other styles of boards. this cheese board utilizes the same quality and durability of the end grain cutting board, but in a smaller size.
this is the smaller version of the MAWAL cutting boards. this cheese board is made with a base of walnut and a small maple strip for accent. these woods were chosen because of their natural durability as well as their natural beauty.

although the thickness of the cutting board is 1.0", the feet add height to make a total height of around 1.25" tall (32mm).
