you have chosen to purchase a unique pullins woodworks' cutting board. it is important to protect your new kitchen piece with the proper care. please reference the following for ensuring the longest life possible for your cutting board.
each board is soaked in a food-grade mineral oil and finished with a food safe mineral oil and beeswax finish. do not be alarmed if your board arrives with excess oil on the surface. it is natural for oil to weep out of the wood's pores during shipment and as it acclimates to your home or work environment.
pullins woodworks cutting boards are not dishwasher, microwave, or oven safe.
do not soak the cutting board.
wash your cutting board with warm soapy water and a soft sponge or rag.
if odors are present, scrub the surface with the face of a freshly cut lemon.
reapply cutting board finish, or cutting board oil, as needed. in most areas, this can be done about 4 times a year or anytime the board is appearing dried or dull.
sanitizing may be done using a mixture of white vinegar and water.
