end grain cutting boards are naturally durable and resistant to daily or heavy use. another benefit of the use of the end grain is that it allows knives to stay sharp longer than with other styles of boards. we are experimenting with new processes and new patterns.
this cutting board is made with an alternating chaotic pattern of maple, cherry, purpleheart, and bubinga. these woods were chosen because of their natural durability as well as their natural beauty.
size: 12.5 x 12.25 x 1.25" (310mm x 310mm x 32mm)
although the thickness of the cutting board is 1.25", the feet add height to make a total height of around 1.5" tall (38mm).
